I have been going to Enid Maunder beauty salon for about 15 years. I have tried reflexology, Indian Head massage, back and neck, and full body massage. I also have my eyebrows tidied. All treatments are relaxing but personally I find a full body or back and neck massage the most beneficial.
My first therapist left to start a family and I was unsure if I would get used to someone new, but when Stephanie became my therapist she quickly found my pressure levels and always asks me how I am and if I have any areas that are particularly tight.
I am a keen gardener and share an allotment with family. I feel my treatments are not just a luxury but essential. I am 72 and want to keep going as long as possible. Stephanie is really professional with a nice personality and I really enjoy my sessions. I always come away feeling pampered and relaxed.

I use Fab Brows duo powder with stencils included, for whatever shape I want. Comes in pastel shades and very smooth to put on. Highly recommended. Try it - you will not be disappointed. I love it plus it is supporting women's Cancer Research.

I finally plucked up the courage to have electrolysis on my bikini line 4 years ago. I always loved swimming and going to the beach but my bikini line made me embarrassed and reluctant to go. If I shaved I struggled with horrible ingrown hairs which made me miserable. I went to see Enid and she was fantastic. She talked me through the process and how long it was likely to take. She was very professional but at the same time relaxed, friendly and open so I didn't feel embarrassed. At the beginning, I had weekly, half-hour treatments and then as the hair started to clear the frequencies of appointments was reduced. I was so pleased with the results that I have now also had the darker hairs on my upper lip treated. The treatment has been amazing and I have regained my confidence, I wished I had done it years ago. Enid is very skilled and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

Enid's speciality is electrolysis-my course has been so successful that I no longer need to continue with this treatment.

I have always been worried about having electrolysis but finally plucked up courage to book an appointment with Enid to have several coarse hairs removed from my chin. Over several weeks, Enid removed these very professionally and with minimum discomfort. I was so happy with the result that I went on to have the hair on my upper lip removed. However having a large age spot removed from my cheek really highlighted Enid’s skills in ‘advanced procedures using electrolysis’ and I am now blemish free. I have been amazed and delighted by the transformation Enid has made to my face through her expertise in electrolysis. I have tried other treatments to remove facial hair, nothing worked long term and it seemed to make it stronger. Enid stressed the importance of regular sessions that remove the hairs as they grow, she was spot on. Six months after starting I was pretty much hair free with just the odd 'top up' now required. I was recommended to Enid by chance as the salon I planned to visit was no longer available in my location. Boy, what a bit of luck that was. I can't recommend Enid highly enough for what is a very professional, pleasant and first class service and experience. My treatment was for electrolysis for stubborn chin hair which worked a treat and has eliminated what for me had been a constant problem for some years. I wish I had done it years ago.
